A selection of readings from An Angels' Guide to Working with the Power of Light. Readings and music by Mairi Campbell. Mairi was awarded 'Musician of the Year 2016' by the trad music awards and following this, made a one woman music theatre show called 'Pulse' which received five star reviews in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2016 and 2017. In 2018, Mairi created a second one woman show, Auld Lang Syne. This has again received 5-star rave reviews and she is continuing to take this show on tour in Scotland and beyond. Mairi plans a third one-woman show in future. Laura writes:
After publication of An Angels' Guide to Working with the Power of Light, I began looking for a reader for the book so as to make an audio version. When I asked the Angels for guidance, they told me, "Mairi is the voice of the book."
Mairi writes:
Laura was close to my mother Marjorie and has been a family friend for many years. She was a friend I knew as a painter, so it was a surprise that day, to get her call to tell me she'd written a book and wanted to send me the manuscript. When I read it I was blown away. Such clarity, such clear, muscular, loving guidance. There and then I set about recording my own audiobook so I could listen to it on long car journeys. I wanted to hear the words rather than just read them. They go in deeper that way.
One day when I was coming back to Edinburgh from Lismore I dropped in to see Laura in Stirling and told her I'd recorded some extracts to listen to on road trips.
The strangeness of it, as Laura had been thinking about creating an audio book and was looking for a reader for her book An Angels' Guide to Working with the Power of Light, and the Angels had told her, "Mairi is the voice of the book".
I am grateful and blessed to being a part of this work, speaking such precious and essential words for this time.

This set of 4 Visualisations evolved from CDs made for the private use of attendees of my Angel workshops.
I was told that the recordings seemed to work well in assisting Angel connection. I have reproduced them here in mp3 format in 2 versions, both included in the set. Version 1: without background. Version 2: waterfall background recorded in situ on a moor in the Highlands of Scotland. Enjoy! |
